Tickets Now on Sale for New Musical Fun Home, Starring Judy Kuhn and Michael Cerveris

Tickets are now available for the world premiere of four-time Tony nominee Jeanine Tesori's new musical Fun Home at the Public Theater. The show, which is based on the graphic novel by Alison Bechdel and features a book and lyrics by Lisa Kron, will run from September 30 through November 3, 2013 at the Public’s Newman Theater. Opening night is set for October 22.

Directed by Sam Gold, Fun Home features three-time Tony nominee Judy Kuhn, Tony winner Michael Cerveris, Alexandra Socha, Griffin Birney, Roberta Colindrez, Noah Hinsdale, Sydney Lucas, Beth Malone and Joel Perez.

Based on Bechdel’s novel, Fun Home charts a girl’s quest to come to terms with her father’s unexpected death. As she moves between past and present, Alison dives into the story of her volatile, brilliant father and relives her unique childhood at her family’s funeral home.
